 Mission Statement

We are a Catholic School Community which embraces its responsibility for the education and development of faithful, hopeful and socially responsible persons who will demonstrate the values, knowledge and skills that enable them to lead fulfilling lives.

We have chosen to learn, grow and work in a Catholic School Community where Christian values are taught and promoted. This Catholic School Community will be characterized by mutual respect, cooperation, care, understanding and safety. Our behaviour and actions will be directed by gospel values and Christ's example.

 Message From the Principal

We Celebrate Together

This time of year right after Easter is an exciting time for our Catholic Faith Community.  It is a time of firsts for our younger students and a time for growth for our Grade 8 students.  Firstly, our primary students are getting ready to make their First Reconciliation and First Communion.  This is an exciting time as they prepare with Mrs. Butler and Fr. Opara to move to yet another level of understanding about our Faith tradition and their role within it.  The other group of students moving forward are the Grade 8’s, who are making their Confirmation and getting ready to graduate.  These two events represent a great time of growth for these young people and also represent an incredible investment in them by their parents, Church and school.  We have spent 10 years taking care of them, celebrated their successes and helped them through their challenges.  We have also celebrated their growth with the main idea of “Together we are smarter.”  This demonstrates our firm belief as Christians that we are all linked together and if one of us does well we all grow together.  We are very proud of our students and all they have done this year, we look forward to celebrating them during the final months of the school year.

Yours in Catholic Education,

Darcey French
