As stated in the agenda and in the September newsletter, students are strongly discouraged from bringing articles to school that are not required for instructional purposes or those not approved by the classroom teacher. Teachers have expressed their concerns about these items because some children have gameboys, walkmans, ipods and even cell phones in the classroom. Therefore, it is our preference that these items not even come to school. If parents choose to send these items to school, they are not to be taken out or used in the classroom. They would be allowed only for outside recesses. Cell phones are to be kept in the student's backpack turned off and are not for use at all on school property. The school cannot assume any responsibility if these items are lost or damaged.
